About Jenn and Carol

• Jenn Dorand, Executive Director, is an accomplished artist and designer. A graduate of California State University at Long Beach, in Environmental Design, she is the Owner and Executive Director of KidzArt St. Louis. Jenn’s focus in recent years has been in the field of exterior design, primarily high-end pools for custom builders in Phoenix, AZ and mosaic glass artwork by private commission. In 2005 her work was selected among American mosaic artists to appear in the American Mosaic 2005 Yearbook. After relocating to the Midwest last summer, and leaving the pool industry behind, Jenn was thrilled to find her new career. She opened KidzArt St. Louis in Spring 2006 and serves the entire West St. Louis County territory. Jenn Dorand is also an active member of the St. Louis Artists’ Guild as well as SAMA, The Society of American Mosaic Artists.
• Carol Cantor, Program Director, most recently was a teacher’s assistant in a toddler class of a local independent school in West County.  The majority of her career was spent in the mortgage banking field where she managed St. Louis branch offices and held the position of Vice President.  In between the two careers, Carol stayed home to raise her two children, who are the true passions in life.  She comes from a family of artists and has always incorporated her love of art in every facet of her career.  She is very excited to be a part of such an exciting business in the field she loves most and looks forward to many rewarding years ahead!
