KidzArt: For Every Stage
of Artistic Development

Students of all ages are introduced to the delightful world of creative arts at KidzArt. Ideally those who start with KidzArt in preschool, will ‘graduate’ to our grade school and high school programs. Our curriculum is evolving and never repeated, with dynamic classes that grow with our students year after year. Each of our fun and exciting programs meets or exceeds the National Standards for Arts Education.

KidzArt: SQUIGGLES TO GRINS! Ages 2 - 3½ Years plus parent		KidzArt: DISCOVER! Ages 3½ - 4½ Years
Budding young artists discover the pure joy and absolute excitement of creating original art through creative activities designed to enhance their motor skills complemented with inspiring storytelling, poetry, and sing-alongs— with the bonus of having Mommy or Daddy right there.		The ‘language’ of art begins with the recognition of lines and shapes. We show preschoolers how these lines and shapes can fit together to create a complete whole. Then we introduce them to the tools to do it for themselves.

KidzArt: CONNECT! Kindergarten: 5 - 6 Years		KidzArt: IMAGINE! Grades 1 - 3
Our kindergarten students take their drawing skills to a new personal level. Through individual guidance and encouragement, they learn how to use the ‘language’ of art to express their thoughts and ideas more clearly. Confidence continues to grow as they experiment with colors and shapes using 2- and 3-dimensional media.		Classes are full of eye-opening surprises as students interpret shapes, colors, and proportion. Soon they are reading between the lines and drawing their own conclusions. They begin to express their ideas freely and to overcome the impulse to judge. Mistakes are minimized with the know-how to find solutions. KidzArt: EXPLORE! Grades 3 - 5		TeenzArt: ASPIRE! Grades 6 - 9
Our students embark on a virtual journey to explore the many elements of the visual arts. During their travels, students are exposed to a variety of artistic styles, cultural interpretations, and mediums. The elements of brainstorming and more complex forms of problem solving are introduced through interactive format. Students begin to talk enthusiastically about possibilities. They become more confident in their attempts at self expression. Their destination of their own personal style gets closer.		Our art-enriched ‘workouts‘ are packed full of challenging design projects and fun surprises intended to motivate students at this age level, and to push their creative potential to the max. With the help of personal training, creative muscle takes shape. Our students become more independent, and we see a personal sense of individual style grow stronger. We continue to challenge our students to exercise their creative skills in other areas of their life.

Need a fresh creative idea for your scout group?  Need to satisfy a badge/try-it requirement? KidzArt classes can be designed to meet these requirements or can just be a fun activity for your group. 

Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts call to set up a special workshop for your troop at your location. 

Make weekly KidzArt classes part of your Summer Program!  By adopting the KidzArt program you are choosing a program that provides everything to run itself—without training your staff.

Your campers will receive the following weekly:

• Nationally recognized, proven drawing program that builds confidence and increases problem solving skills across all areas of academics.
• Flexible theme options to fit your Summer Program!
• Professional, high-quality program that will add an additional benefit to your camp.
• Certified KidzArt Instructor(s) assigned to your sites (all instructors have cleared background checks and completed Safe Environment Training).
• Exposure to and use of artist quality materials provided by KidzArt.

Summer camps and workshops give your child the opportunity to really get into their artwork.  These programs usually last 3 hours per day and typically have a theme.  With longer blocks of time and more mediums and projects your child will take their art to a whole new level.  Friends and family of our campers are invited to attend the art gallery at the end of camp.  The gallery is a great way for all of our aspiring artists to display their work.

Art Innovators! (classes formerly called Young at HeArt)		SeniorzArt: RE-DISCOVER!
Knock down personal and psychological barriers that block creative expression at Art Innovators! The ‘shoulds’ and ‘who’s best’ go right out the window. We present young and older adults WITH the “creativity” skills to break through the barriers of self-judgment and the pressures of competition. Classes focus on relaxing, creative problem solving, letting go and HAVING FUN!		Adults in our program for seniors in assisted living find out that it’s never too late to experience the joy of creativity at SeniorzArt: RE-DISCOVER! Whether it’s the first time, or continuing a lifelong talent, artistic expression can bring confidence and independence to artists of all ages.
